Inter Milan Hope To Continue Remarkable Serie A Away Match Winning Streak Vs Lecce
Inter Milan are hoping to keep their remarkable run of away wins in Serie A going in tomorrow evening’s match against Lecce.
This is highlighted in today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews.
The last time that Inter Milan failed to win a match away in Serie A was against Monza in September.
On that occasion the Nerazzuri had to settle for a 1-1 draw.
Ever since then, Inter’s away record has been flawless. They have secured wins against the likes of Udinese, Roma, Empoli, Hellas Verona, Lazio, Cagliari, and Venezia.
That is seven in a row.
Moreover, apart from the match away to Udinese which was a 3-2 thriller, every one of those matches has seen Inter keep a clean sheet.
As the Corriere highlight, the Nerazzurri have scored 22 goals and conceded just twice in that seven-match stretch.
Inter Milan Hope To Keep Remarkable Serie A Away Record Alive Vs Lecce
Tomorrow, it’s another away match for Inter Milan.
The Nerazzurri travel to Apulia to take on Lecce.
Inter certainly aren’t going to be taking anything for granted from that match. The Giallorossi may be lower down in the table, but they have plenty of motivation to take a result in the relegation scrap.
However, Inter will know perfectly well that they are favourites.
The Nerazzurri are the reigning champions of Serie A. And their current record in away matches has been nothing short of stellar.
Therefore, Inter will feel plenty of belief that they can extend that record to eight wins from eight.
