Inter Milan & Canada Star Training On The Pitch For The First Time Since Sustaining Injury
Inter Milan wingback Tajon Buchanan has made his return to the pitch, suggesting his recovery path might be ahead of schedule.
The 25-year-old injured his tibia during the Copa American that took place in the United States back in July.

The Canadian had to undergo surgery to repair the damage. Initial diagnosis suggested the player will be out until December or January.
This prompted Inter to react on the market. They switched Carlos Augusto back to his original role as a left wingback while signing Tomas Palacios to act as a backup for Alessandro Bastoni.
However, Simone Inzaghi still added Buchanan to his Champions League group list while dropping the young Argentine defender.
This choice hinted that the Canada international could make his return to action earlier than expected.
On Thursday, another positive signal arrived on this front. The official Inter Milan X account dropped a photo of the wingback on the training ground with the quote: “Look who’s here”.
Inter Milan Wingback Tajon Buchanan Returns To The Training Ground
While the Canadian’s injury ordeal is far from over, his return to the training ground means he has already overcome several important steps.
Buchanan signed for the Italian champions last January, completing a transfer from Club Brugge.
He made ten appearances in Serie A last term, all coming off the bench. Hence, he has yet to make his Inter debut.
The 25-year-old is a versatile wide player who can play as a winger or a wingback on either flank. He has been mostly serving as a backup for Federico Dimarco on the left side.
Buchanan’s contract with the club is valid until June 2028.
