Inter Milan Boast Best Away Record Of Teams In Champions League This Season
Inter Milan can boast the best away record out of all teams competing in the Champions League this season.
This is highlighted in today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.
One quirk of Inter’s season in Serie A is that they boast a superior away record to their form at home.
In matches in front of their own fans, the Nerazzurri have taken an average of 2.18 points.
That is hardly a bad haul. But it is also some way short of dominant.
However, on the road it is a different story.

Inter’s away form did not get off to the best of starts in Serie A this season.
The Nerazzurri dropped points against the likes of Genoa and Monza early on.
However, since September there has been a run of seven straight Serie A away matches with a win for Inter Milan.
The Nerazzurri have scored 22 goals in that run, and conceded just twice.
Meanwhile, the last six matches that Inter have played away from home in Serie A, they have kept clean sheets.
Therefore, the Nerazzurri’s away record in Serie A this season is 2.55 points per match.
As the Gazzetta note, that is higher than any other team in the Champions League.
Liverpool come the closest to that record with 2.45 points.
