Inter continues slowly but still doubled the lead. Denzel Dumfries scored his 7th goal in all competitions for Inter this season.

Empoli then halved the deficit via Inter owned Sebastiano Esposito. Marcus Thuram then scored his 13th Serie A goal of the season to secure the three points.
