Inter in advanced talks to sign Newell’s Old Boys midfielder Tomas Perez

Serie A champions Inter are now making progress in a deal to sign Newell’s Old Boys midfielder Tomas Perez and are now in advanced talks to seal a move.

Gianluca di Marzio has revealed that the final details of the move are yet to be defined, but Inter have made quick progress. The total package of the move is expected to be at around €7 million and that will include bonuses.

The Argentine club’s president Ignacio Astore will soon be in Milan to hold talks with the Nerazzurri about Perez and he was expected to have watched Inter’s 2-2 draw against Bologna as well.

This has happened after Inter were also interested in the club’s winger Mateo Silvetti, but the negotiations seemed difficult. Interest in Perez goes back to some weeks and the next few hours could see the move get defined further and more details can then emerge about the situation.
