Inter 1-1 Napoli Calhanoglu responds to McTominay
At San Siro, Napoli took the lead, but Hakan Calhanoglu replied with a stunning strike before hitting the post from the penalty spot in the second half.
A draw at San Siro between Inter and Napoli tightens the race at the top of the table: the Neapolitans remain in first place with 26 points, closely followed by four teams on 25, including Inter, Atalanta, Fiorentina, and Lazio.
The game was largely controlled by Inter, although Napoli took the lead in the first half through McTominay, who capitalised on a corner. Inter equalised with a fantastic long-range strike from Hakan Calhanoglu, a true masterpiece.
In the second half, Inter continued to dominate possession, but chances were limited. The best opportunity came in the 74th minute when Calhanoglu stepped up for a penalty, but his powerful shot struck the post. In the final moments, there was a scare for the Nerazzurri when Simeone's turn and shot narrowly missed the target.
The match ended 1-1, and Inter will be back in action on 23 November against Hellas Verona after the international break.
