Insider says ‘top Premier League clubs’ keen on Chelsea left back – his future is uncertain

Chelsea are set to receive interest from top Premier League clubs for one of their current left backs this summer, and his future is uncertain.

The Blues could sell quite a few more players from their current squad this summer, with so many rumours flying around about a number of them and questions marks over many heads right now.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea now keen on signing versatile Bayern Munich attacker this summer! 👀

Yesterday, The Telegraph reported that Trevoh Chalobah is expected to leave Stamford Bridge, with the futures of Conor Gallagher and Ben Chilwell uncertain under Enzo Maresca.

The most surprising name there is Chilwell really. I mean, I think we all expect Chelsea to let one left back go this summer, but perhaps before the resurgence of Marc Cucurella last season and also now at the Euros, it is Chilwell who is now the most likely one to leave the club – even if most expected it to be Cucurella.

Chelsea are now readying approaches for the England international left back this summer, according to one top insider.

Sam C on X (as above) is often known to report reliable Chelsea news, and he has said that top Premier League clubs are now interested in signing Chilwell this summer.

Chilwell has been consistently injury prone since he came to Chelsea really and due to that I don’t think many Chelsea fans would be too upset if he was sold now. I think when fit and in good form then he’s a decent player. But he’s mainly been unfit and out of form whilst at Chelsea so really, if we can replace him with a better option and one who is not injury prone, then I think that would be a very smart move.

It will be very interesting to see what happens at left back for Chelsea during this window.
