Inside Inter Miami: Messi injury, upcoming games, Copa America chaos, new center back?

Copa America is over. Euros are over. Time to get reacquainted with Inter Miami, which won four games in a row without Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez, but slipped to second place in the MLS standings after a 6-1 rout at Cincinnati.

The team is back home this week for the first time in a month with back-to-back games against Toronto FC on Wednesday and Chicago Fire on Saturday (during which they will unveil their Dolphins-inspired third jersey).

Messi will miss both games after an ankle injury in Argentina’s Copa America final against Colombia on Sunday.

In the latest episode of Inside Inter Miami, host Michelle Kaufman and special guest Fernando Fiore, the Spanish radio voice of the team, break down Messi’s injury, discuss his future, Argentina’s victory, the chaos at Hard Rock Stadium before the Copa final, where MLS stands with Leagues Cup and MLS playoff push ahead, and the Inter Miami Media Cup.
