Ahead of the away UEFA Champions League contest on Matchday 2, Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly received good injury updates regarding two key players.

L’Equipe reported this week that Gianluigi Donnarumma, Marco Asensio, and Désiré Doué are all doubtful for the upcoming match against Arsenal, which has raised some concerns for the team. On the other hand, Vitinha has been training individually.

Although his situation isn’t as worrying, there are still some questions about his fitness with the Champions League on the horizon.

The latest information on the injuries regarding PSG comes from Le Parisien, who reported that Donnarumma is no longer feeling any discomfort in his thigh. Moreover, the French media outlet reports that for Vitinha, there’s also no major concern about his return to the squad.

PSG will head into their UEFA Champions League Matchday 2 clash against Arsenal with momentum following a 3-1 victory over Stade Rennais on Friday night at the Parc des Princes.

Bradley Barcola opened the scoring in the 30th minute, and in the second half, PSG extended their lead with a goal from Kang-in Lee in the 58th minute, followed by Barcola’s second of the night in the 68th minute to make it 3-0. Rennes managed to pull one back, but the match ended 3-1 in favor of the Parisians.
