What injury forced Dallas Cowboys star Micah Parsons out of Thursday’s game?

The Dallas Cowboys lost star edge rusher Micah Parsons late in the fourth quarter of the team’s Thursday Night Football game against the New York Giants.

Parsons suffered the injury in the fourth quarter after rushing the passer on a critical third down. The Penn State product had a Giants offensive lineman fall on his legs and stayed down after the play, having to be helped off the field by training staff.

Parsons suffered a left leg/ankle injury and was carted off the field following the play.

Depending on the severity of the injury Parsons could join a list of prominent injured Cowboys that includes DaRon Bland, Caelen Carson and Sam Williams.

Parsons is in his fourth NFL season and has notched 10 tackles and one sack through the first three weeks of the 2024 NFL season.
