FC Barcelona have many injured stars at the moment who are in the process of recovery. As for when they got injured, the timelines vary and so do the settings of their respective injuries. However, the common factor in all these Barcelona injuries is the desperation of the club.

With the preseason already well underway, La Blaugrana are having to prepare and compete without the help of some of their brightest stars. While it is true that not every player’s unavailability is due to injury, with some being absent due to vacations, the number of players in recovery is rather alarming.

However, on a more positive note, it appears that one of the crucial players of the team has recently shared a promising message on his Instagram while being in the process of his own recovery. The 26-year-old Uruguayan sentinel, Ronald Araujo, recently shared a picture of himself at the Barcelona facility with crutches by his sides with the caption:

“Let’s start with the recovery! Culers, soon I will be fighting on the pitch as usual.”

A much-needed message at a time when Araujo’s involvement in this season is already looking jeopardized from various perspectives. Firstly, the injury itself is set to now keep him in recovery for nearly four more months following the surgery that he recently underwent.

Secondly, there was also a strong feeling that there exists a chance that Araujo may not even be a Barcelona player by the end of the summer. However, it seems that with his Barça-centred message recently, he seems to want to continue playing for the Catalan giants heading into next season.

Unfortunately, Araujo’s injury is not the first that he has had to deal with. This time around, it occurred during a Copa America clash against Brazil a few weeks back. With another hamstring injury now holding the Barcelona defender back, new head coach Hansi Flick will be hoping he just comes back as soon as possible and in his best version.
