“Impressed” – Former Premier League player explains “why I get excited about Chelsea”

One former Premier League player has been explaining why he is ‘very impressed’ with Chelsea right now and why he is getting so excited about them.

The Blues are taking in the compliments right now and probably fully enjoying all the praise after a few years of toxicity after some very tough times since the new owners came in to the club.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea ‘seriously consider’ January approach for Premier League centre back!!

I don’t think their ambitions could have ever been questioned, but there had been many mistakes along the way, especially in the early days. But they are getting the hang of it now and the main thing is it looks like they have finally got a new manager appointment correct, at least so far.

Enzo Maresca is smashing it at Chelsea right now and is exceeding beyond expectations currently. The likes of Nicolas Jackson continue to ignore any title talk, and so does Maresca, but others are doing more than whispering it this season.

Chelsea are exciting to watch

Caicedo earns more praise

Former Premier League player Robbie Mustoe, who turned out for the likes of Middlesbrough and Sheffield Wednesday to name a couple, has been praising Chelsea this week.

In words picked up by Blue Footy on X, Mustoe said on his latest Podcast:

“Moises Caicedo looks like a beast by the way. He’s enjoying his football, attacking, winning the ball, and that’s why I get excited about Chelsea. They’ve got some young power in the middle of the park. They’ve got speed in outside areas. They got options in different spots. I don’t think defensively, they’re amazing. So either way, full of goals, full of ways of scoring. I’m very, very impressed and excited about Chelsea.”

It certainly does feel like a good time to be watching Chelsea right now, despite the concerns about the defence as a whole.
