The Flyers traded Gauthier to the Ducks this past season after the 2022 fifth-overall pick made it clear that he would not sign in Philly. The Flyers acquired Jamie Drysdale in the move, and he had a big moment against his former club.

Drysdale got revenge against the club that gave up on him, as he scored an excellent goal. After receiving a nice feed from Travis Konecny, Drysdale beat Ducks goalie John Gibson five-hole with a sweet wrister. This led to Flyers fans chanting, "Jamie's better!"

Drysdale definitely needed this goal, as he had not scored in 26 games straight before it. It also must have been extra sweet breaking his goal drought against his former team.

Drysdale's impressive night did not end there, either, as he also recorded an assist on Matvei Michkov's third-period power-play goal.

From here, Drysdale will now look to build off this impressive night against the Ducks. In 31 games this season with the Flyers, he has two goals and nine points.
