Important Devils Forward Is Heating Up Big Time

New Jersey Devils forward Ondrej Palat has had a bit of a shaky start to the 2024-25 season. In 33 games, the 2011 seventh-round pick has six goals, six assists, and a plus-2 rating.

Although Palat's offensive production is a bit lower than expected, he is undoubtedly trending in the right direction as of late. Over his last four games, the 33-year-old winger has three goals and four points. This includes a goal in the Devils' 4-1 win over the St. Louis Blues in their last contest.

If Palat can continue to produce offense like this, it will only make the Devils an even more challenging team to go up against. He appears to have found a nice fit playing on a line with stars Jack Hughes and Jesper Bratt, and they are helping him break the ice.

Seeing how Palat builds on his hot streak from here will be very interesting. The potential for him to continue to make a significant impact is there, and time will tell if he does just that.
