(Image) Stat shows why fans should be excited following debut of $66.6m man
Chelsea didn’t get their season off to the start they would have been hoping for against Manchester City but there were positives to take.
Four summer signings made their debuts whilst Romeo Lavia made his first competitive start for the club, with the Belgian putting in an impressive performance.
The likes of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Renato Veiga and Marc Guiu made their debuts, but the player fans were most excited for was Pedro Neto.
Neto was the first introduction from the bench in the second half and he injected some urgency into the game and gave the Blues some much needed natural width.
The Portugal international is a proven quantity at Premier League level and was a threat to the City defence during his 30 minutes on the pitch.

Neto gave fans reason to be excited and stats from Mozo Football back up that excitement with the 24-year-old creating as many chances as any other Chelsea player despite being on the pitch for a limited amount of time.
The Blues will be looking for more of that creative spark from Neto in their games against Servette and Wolves this week.
