Igor Shesterkin Proclaims Sidney Crosby Is Hardest Opponent To Face In Shootout

New York Rangers goaltender Igor Shesterkin was asked about which player’s shootout is hardest to repel.

The player that Shesterkin proclaimed the hardest to face shouldn’t surprise anybody. It was no other than Sidney Crosby.

“I’m gonna start with Crosby because he can always make different moves that are very hard to anticipate,” Shesterkin said.

At 37-years-old, Crosby is still at the top of his game as he recorded 42 goals, 52 assists and 94 points in 82 games this past season.

Shesterkin also included Jack Hughes and Nathan Mackinnon in his list of toughest opponents to face in a shootout.
