Igor Shesterkin Gets Pulled As Rangers Embarrass Themselves At MSG
The New York Rangers pulled Igor Shesterkin in the second period of their disastrous game against the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday afternoon.
This comes after Shesterkin gave up five goals on 21 shots and 3 goals in 2:18 minutes.
Looking at these stats, people might assume that it’s all Shesterkin’s fault, but in reality, the Rangers’ lackluster defense is doing him no favors.
The Rangers are playing with no sense of urgency and essentially are letting the Kings do whatever they want on the ice.
After getting pulled, Shesterkin kept his goalie mask on for the rest of the second period, not showing his face.

Fans continue to boo the Rangers as their struggles have been on full display for everyone to see.
Through 40 minutes of play, the Rangers trail 5-1 in what has been arguably their most dreadful performance of the season so far and the game is not even over.
