Hurricanes' Martin Necas gets puck to the face
Yowza. Carolina Hurricanes rookie Martin Necas was simply trying to get a little net-front presence in front of Montreal’s Charlie Lindgren but instead might be ending 2019 with a lot less teeth.
The puck comes from a point shot and seems to hit him directly in the jaw. Necas immediately throws his gloves and reaches for his face in pain — the refs blew the play down immediately.

Necas skated off the ice for repairs in a hurry, and returned at the start of the third period.
Jesus. Martin Necas just took a shot to the face immediately threw his gloves off, fell down and ran to the room. Hope that's not as bad as it looked
