Alex Nedeljkovic made ECHL history Friday night when he became the first goalie in Florida Everblades history to score a goal.

With the Everblades up 4-3 over the Atlanta Gladiators late in the third period, the Carolina Hurricanes prospect took the dumped in puck and fired it the other way toward the empty net.

Nedeljkovic, who was making his second start for the Everblades this season after being sent down from their AHL affiliate earlier this week, is now the 12th netminder in ECHL history to score a goal following Brian Foster in 2013.

He also made 40 stops in the win. Not too bad of a night for the kid.
