Hull City players rewarded for belief - Selles
Hull City boss Ruben Selles praised his side's "excellent application" after they shocked promotion-chasing Hull City with a 3-0 win at Bramall Lane.
The Blades had lost just once at home all season and conceded only five goals in 13 games in front of their own fans prior to Friday's game.
The win moved Selles' side out of the relegation zone and two points clear of the bottom three.
"I feel really good because of the result but also because of the performance," he told BBC Radio Humberside.
"It's difficult to come and play and get points from here and I think we did a lot of good things today.
"I think the players fully believe in what we are doing and their application was excellent today.
"The early goal made it easier because then they had to open spaces. To start the game in that way gives you confidence.
"I hope we can build on this. Now it's important to take the weekend to rest a little bit and then go again.
"I think the team has a way and a identity, we can win or lose matches but the way has to always be there. I'm proud of that."
