Major League Soccer is at it again; this time, Minnesota United is under the spotlight.

The club’s four-game losing streak is about to extend after a horrid defensive error gifted the Vancouver Whitecaps the lead.

Ryan Gauld put Michael Boxall under pressure, and the defender’s slow, misplaced back pass opened the door.

Gauld pounced and easily teed up Brian White from point-blank range. The striker is now Vanocuver’s leading goalscorer in MLS regular season play history (40 goals).

Things then turned from bad to worse for Minnesota some 15 minutes later.

Gauld, again the creator, delivered a delicious curling cross into the box, which MathΓas Laborda easily headed home.

Vancouver were up 2-0 from two shots on target. How bad could this get for Minnesota?
