Hockey fans, rejoice. Ex-captains of Team Canada and Team USA women’s hockey teams are slaying Christmas.

When former on-ice rivals Caroline Ouellette and Julie Chu welcomed a baby together back in November, the world had no idea the cuteness overload that would soon come. Yesterday the young family posted a photo on Instagram in matching Christmas sweaters and daughter, Liv, in a mini Santa outfit — with just one tiny snowman sock.

Ouellette, 38, won four Olympic gold medals during her time on the Canadian squad, while Chu, 35, was a member of U.S. teams that lost to Canada in three finals. Combined, the couple has won 11 gold and 10 silver IIHF World Women’s Championship medals.

Since November, the former rivals’ Instagram feeds have just been one adorable photo after the next. One highlight photo for the family included one of the moms and their daughter at the Clarkson Cup banner raising ceremony for the Les Canadiennes’ championship earlier in the year.

But until the women’s hockey class of 2035 is ready to graduate, we will have to follow along with Liv’s adorable life through her moms’ social media posts.

And come on, look at those tiny fist pumps!

Ho Ho Ho
