The Hockey Show: Connor McDavid suspension, impressive Panthers youngsters, Rose takes over
The Hockey Show is back this week with another fun filled episode.
This week, producer Rose Arias took over hosting duties from Roy Bellamy and David Dwork, and as one might expect, things went a little sideways.
Among the topics discussed this week were the San Jose Sharks blowing a massive lead in Nashville, Ryan Reaves finally getting into his first fight this season after being turned down by Arber Xhekaj and Darren Pang explaining the importance of experience in the NHL.
Joining the show this week was Avry Lewis-McDougall, who covers the Edmonton Oilers for The Hockey News and hosts Avry’s Sports Show.
One of the main topics discussed with Avry was the three-game suspension handed to Oilers superstar Connor McDavid and the play that led up to it.
They also discussed a change in the way players come together off the ice in current times compared to in generations past, and the amazing season that goaltender Logan Thompson is having for the Washington Capitals after being acquired in a Draft day trade and while playing on a league minimum salary.
You get all that, plus your weekly segment catching up on all things Florida Panthers, including the ascension of rookie Mackie Samoskevich and the red-hot play of goaltender Spencer Knight.
