The Icemen also had a couple of four-goal leads in the game, including a 4-0 and 5-1 advantage.

Hislop, a St. Clements, Ont. native, joined the Icemen af concluding his junior hockey career in the Ontario Hockey League with the Guelph Storm last season.
In 48 games, the 6-foot-1, 181-pound Hislop recorded seven points (1-6-7) with the Storm. He played in 159 career junior games split between Guelph, the North Bay Battalion and Saginaw Spirit from 2021-24.
With Friday’s victory, the Icemen improve to 16-9-2, while the Stingrays drop to 17-8-1.
