Highly-regarded Real Madrid starlet ‘expected to leave’, with Cesc Fabregas’ Como keen
A headline member of the academy setup at La Liga giants Real Madrid is expected to depart the club before the summer is out.
That’s according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, who points towards Nico Páz as the player in question.
Youngster Páz has long been considered one of the standout young talents on the books of Real Madrid.
The 19-year-old, a youth international for Argentina, was afforded seven appearances by Carlo Ancelotti over the first half of last season.
Páz, from here, was expected to kick on, to push for even more regular playing time this coming season.
After failing to step foot back on the pitch in a first-team setting since December, however, the midfield starlet is now in fact inching towards the exit door.
As per a report from Fabrizio Romano, amid the stiff competition for places in Spain’s capital:
‘Nico Páz [is] expected to leave Real Madrid in the next days on [a] permanent deal.
‘Pushing’ for the signature of the youngster are former Barcelona star Cesc Fabregas’ Serie A newcomers’ Como, albeit with Girona and Deportivo Alavés, in Spain, also keen.
Any deal would be expected to feature a buyback clause for Real Madrid.
