Atalanta are without defender Isak Hien for tomorrow’s Serie A clash against Bologna, but Ben Godfrey is back in the squad.

It kicks off at the Stadio Dall’Ara on Saturday at 19.45 UK time (18.45 GMT).

La Dea are still smarting after their shock 3-2 home defeat to Como, a tie that was called off on Monday due to heavy rain and had to be played on Tuesday instead.

Coach Gian Piero Gasperini was already short-staffed in defence, doing without Rafael Toloi and Giorgio Scalvini, as well as long-term absentee in attack Gianluca Scamacca.

Hien adding to Atalanta problems

Now Hien has been left out of the trip to Bologna, as he sustained a muscular problem in the left adductor and will have further tests over the next few days.

There is at least some good news for Atalanta, because summer signing Godfrey has returned to the squad following a back issue.

It means that they are likely to start Odilon Koussounou in the back three with Berat Djimsiti and Sead Kolasinac.
