Hibs sign midfielder Grant from rivals Hearts
Republic of Ireland midfielder Ciara Grant has joined Hibs on a one-year deal, becoming the second player to switch from Edinburgh rivals Hearts this summer.
Grant made 58 appearances in two years with Hearts and helped them reach a first Scottish Cup final last season.
The 31-year-old, who also played a part in Rangers' maiden SWPL title win in 2022 during a six-month spell at Ibrox, joins striker Kathleen McGovern in moving from Hearts to Hibs.
Grant, a qualified doctor, said: "I am thrilled to join Hibernian and start this new chapter in my career.
"Hibernian has a rich history and I am eager to contribute to their success moving forward."
Head coach Grant Scott said Grant's "leadership on and off the pitch" will be crucial and added: "Her experience and skill-set will be a great asset to our squad."
