Here's why Tom Brady was at Saints-49ers preseason game but wasn't on the air for Fox
Tom Brady is one step closer to his Fox NFL broadcasting career, with an appearance at Sunday's San Francisco 49ers and New Orleans Saints preseason game.
Heck, he was even there with a headset and was with his new play-by-play partner, Kevin Burkhardt.
But why wasn't he on the air? There's a very good reason for that: he was doing another rehearsal broadcast -- it was Adam Amin and Mark Sanchez on the mics. Brady and Burkhardt are simply getting their practice reps in just like the rest of the NFL before the real deal for the pair on September 8.
There you have it!
