Heisman Trophy: Full list of winners for college football’s top award by school
The 2024 Heisman Trophy will be awarded Saturday night, as college football's most prestigious award will be given to its top individual player from this season.
Schools with hallowed histories in college football have unsurprisingly ended up with plenty of Heisman Trophy winners. The USC Trojans, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Ohio State Buckeyes, and Oklahoma Sooners have dominated the award over the years, with players from those schools winning the Heisman 29 of a possible 89 times.
This year's four Heisman finalists are Oregon quarterback Dillon Gabriel, Colorado wide receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter, Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty, and Miami quarterback Cam Ward. Hunter's "iron man" throwback season has made him the favorite, but Jeanty's pursuit of the FBS single-season rushing record has added some intrigue heading into the ceremony.
