Happy birthday, Julio!

Julio Cesar Soares Espíndola was one of Inter's most successful and beloved goalkeepers, with his unforgettable diving saves, lightning-fast reflexes, and huge personality. After joining Inter in 2005, he quickly worked his way into the fans' hearts, so much so that he was dubbed the Acchiappasogni (Dream Catcher), a superhero defending the Nerazzurri's goal from any threat.

An explosive shot-stopper, who is widely regarded as one of the best of his generation, Julio Cesar made 300 appearances and won 14 major honours in seven years at the Club: one Champions League, one Club World Cup, five Scudetti, three Coppe Italia and four Supercoppe Italiane. His class and passion earned him an entry into the Inter Hall of Fame in 2020.

Julio Cesar was born on 3 September 1979 and the Club and fans wish him a very happy 45th birthday!
