How Hansi Flick reacted to Raphinha’s Barcelona opener vs Valladolid

Barca are of course locked in action at present, in a La Liga meeting with Real Valladolid.

The Blaugrana headed into proceedings with sights set on a 4th successive victory to open the campaign, on the back of a trio of 2-1 wins over the course of the last couple of weeks.

And, as things stand in Catalunya’s capital, keeping their perfect season record alive is precisely what Barcelona are headed towards.

This comes with the evening’s hosts in possession of a 2-0 advantage, owing to goals on the part of Raphinha, and Robert Lewandowski.

The former’s strike came on the 20-minute mark, when the Brazilian’s clever run from the left flank was rewarded by Pau Cubarsí, whose inch-perfect pass was slotted home in style.

For Raphinha, his goal, a first of the term, marked just rewards for what has been a wonderful start to the campaign on the part of the former Leeds United man.
