Hansi Flick desperate for one Barcelona star to return to his best in 2025

Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick is eager to see one specific member of his squad rediscover his very best form over the course of the year ahead.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who point towards Gavi as the player in question.

Midfielder Gavi has for his part of course spent recent months working his way back towards full fitness.

This comes after the youngster was condemned to the best part of a year on the sidelines, owing to an ACL tear suffered whilst lining out for Spain.

Across this time, Gavi has shown, in glimpses, flashes of the player who had established himself as one of the standout up-and-coming talents in all of world football prior to his injury.

And it is precisely this player whom the aforementioned Hansi Flick is desperate to see the return of in the year of 2025.

As per Sport, Barca’s headmaster considers Gavi an absolutely crucial member of his squad.

Flick views the 20-year-old as a potential cornerstone in his XI moving forward, with he and the coaching staff in Catalunya’s capital therefore ready to do whatever it takes to ensure that Gavi rediscovers his very best over the months which lie ahead.
