Hansi Flick called one Barcelona star for a detailed training ground chat before Real Madrid
Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick made use of the club’s latest training session to pull Lamine Yamal to one side for an in-depth conversation.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who have provided an insight into the latest developments in Catalunya’s capital.
Barcelona are of course in the midst of final preparations for the biggest fixture in the Spanish football calendar.
The Blaugrana are set to make the trip to the Santiago Bernabéu on Saturday night, for a La Liga showdown with arch rivals Real Madrid.
The aforementioned Lamine, for his part, is set to feature from the off in the matchup, no doubt eager to cause customary havoc from his berth on the right flank.
Ahead of the latest Clásico of his fledgling career, boss Hansi Flick, in turn, today made use of the opportunity to pull his side’s prodigious young attacker aside for a one-to-one conversation.
As per a report from Mundo Deportivo:
‘Before Friday’s session, prior to the match at the Santiago Bernabéu, the Barça coach spent two minutes chatting with Lamine Yamal.’
The discussion is understood to have centered on the task awaiting Lamine in Madrid, specifically his battle with Ferland Mendy – one of the game’s very best defensive full-backs.
It now remains to be seen if the advice afforded to the Barcelona sensation pays dividends for he and his teammates tomorrow night.
