Hall of Fame: Watch Devin Hester, Steve McMichael, Julius Peppers' enshrinements
The Chicago Bears welcomed three new members to the Pro Football Hall of Fame during Saturday's enshrinement ceremony, where return specialist Devin Hester, defensive tackle Steve McMichael and defensive end Julius Peppers were immortalized among football's elite.
Hester, a three-time first-team All Pro and four-time Pro Bowler, forever changed the game as a return specialist. He has more punt returns than anyone in NFL history with 14, his 20 total non-offensive touchdowns are also the most in league history, and he has the highest average yards per punt return among those with at least 300 returns in NFL history.
McMichael spent 13 seasons with the Bears and won Super Bowl XX in the 1985 season. He was a two-time first-team All-Pro, three-time second-team All-Pro and two-time Pro Bowler. McMichael's 92.5 career sacks rank second in franchise history, behind only Richard Dent (124.5).
While Peppers spent most of his career with the Carolina Panthers, he made an impact during his four years in Chicago. Peppers totaled 37.5 sacks (15th-most in team history) and 47 tackles for loss and never missed a game.
Here's a look at the speeches for Hester and Peppers, along with McMichael's enshrinement:
