Canadiens' Keith Kinkaid flashes leather in windmill save
It’s always a treat to see goaltenders do anything possible to stop the puck from going behind them.
During Sunday afternoon’s game between the Montreal Canadiens and Minnesota Wild, Keith Kinkaid pulled out all the stops to prevent Minnesota’s Jason Zucker from scoring.
Who knew the backup was so acrobatic?

Kinkaid’s highlight-reel save helped preserve a 2-1 Canadiens lead.
Even regular starter Carey Price was dazzled from the bench.

In his first year as a member of the Habs, Kinkaid posted a .872 save percentage and 4.93 GAA in the single game he’s appeared in, prior to Sunday’s contest.
Montreal holds a 4-2-2 record and are sitting in a wild card spot early into the season. If the backup is able to make more stops like this one, maybe they’ll grab one of the top spots in the Atlantic.
