Yahoo Sports Guela Doué rejects Galatasaray amid Strasbourg and Premier League interest
There has been significant interest in Guela Doué (21) this summer from RC Strasbourg Alsace and Galatasaray S.K. with both clubs sending competing offers to Stade Rennais for the right-back.
However, according to a report by Foot Mercato, these bids have been met with setbacks. Doué has rejected a move to Galatasaray after the Turkish side were reported to have submitted a €6 million bid for the fullback. And while he has not ruled himself out from joining Strasbourg, the French side are unable to meet his wage demands.
Foot Mercato states that an unnamed Premier League side has also entered the race for the older brother of Désiré Doué (19) which could only complicate matters further for the two named parties.
For now, Rennes will wait to see what happens. They are committed to selling Doué this summer as the fullback has entered the final year of his contract.
