Yahoo Sports Grimsby sign midfielder Burns from MK Dons
Grimsby Town have signed midfielder Darragh Burns from fellow League Two side MK Dons for an undisclosed fee.
The 22-year-old joined MK Dons in 2022 and played 24 times for them, but was on loan at Shamrock Rovers from January last year until December, and scored five goals in 40 appearances.
Grimsby head coach David Artell said Burns will provide "strength and depth" to the team in the wide forward positions.
"We've been tracking him for some time and have been impressed," he added.
"He's technically proficient, particularly in the final third with excellent crossing, good delivery from both feet and he has an eye for goal, too."
Details about Burns' contract with the Mariners have not been disclosed.
