Good news: Soccer team's heartwarming tribute to a teammate is capped by a goal

Though high school soccer player Casey Taub was diagnosed with brain cancer, his love of the game never left him. In between bouts of chemotherapy, the 16-year-old would often be seen cheering on his teammates from the sidelines at Horace Greeley High School in Chappaqua, New York. Tragically, Casey did not pull through and eventually passed away. His school and teammates were heartbroken and decided to pay tribute to Casey at a soccer game. Casey used to wear the number 22 jersey, so a round of applause was planned for 22 minutes. Then something incredible happened.

Watch the video to see tears turned to cheers by Casey’s Goal.
