Gollini not interested in being back-up option at Roma
Pierlugi Gollini has fallen behind in Roma’s estimation for the role of back-up goal-keeper.
The Italian shot-stopper was recently considered as Mile Svilar’s potential back-up option.
Coming off a loan at Napoli (his third consecutive loan away from Atalanta), Gollini is looking for a permanent home.
More importantly, the 29-year-old seeks a chance to play starting minutes.
Because of this, Corriere dello Sport reports that Gollini rejected Roma’s approach as he would be signing on once again to play second-choice to someone else.
As a result, Roma are said to have shifted their attention to Standard Liege keeper Arnaud Bodart.
