Golden Knights' Zach Whitecloud and William Karlsson Out Tonight Against Flyers

The Vegas Golden Knights will be without Zach Whitecloud and William Karlsson tonight as they end the Eastern part of their road trip against the Philadelphia Flyers.

Whitecloud left Saturday's game in the third third period and did not return and the team announced today that the 27-year-old is considered day-to-day with an upper-body injury.

Karlsson missed the team's first eight games with an injury but is missing tonight's fixture due to personal reasons. Karlsson is expecting the birth of his second child.

With Whitecloud, Karlsson and Alex Pietrangelo out, Cal Burke, Mason Morelli and Robert Hagg will enter the Golden Knights lineup. Burke has played three games on the Golden Knights road trip and Hagg has played in one. Morelli will be making his season debut tonight, he played in nine games last year recording three goals and four points.

Ilya Samsonov will be in goal tonight and he'll be duelling a fellow Russian at the other end in Ivan Fedotov.
