Golden Knights Start Pivotal Road Trip With Game Against Jets
The Vegas Golden Knights begin a pivotal road trip, a heavy-weight battle against the Winnipeg Jets.
The Golden Knights are getting healthy at the right time. Mark Stone returned on Dec. 6 and looked like he hadn't missed a beat, and now Zach Whitecloud is expected to make his return to the lineup after he suffered an upper-body injury on Nov. 23.

Heading into tonight's game, the Jets are feeling good. They beat the Boston Bruins 8-1, and their top line consisting of Mark Scheifele, Kyle Connor and Gabriel Vilardi combined for four goals and eight points. Tonight's fixture will feature two of the best lines in the NHL.
Jack Eichel, Ivan Barbashev and Mark Stone will once again be tasked with outperforming their opponents' top line. The Jets and Golden Knights are both in the top 10 in goals scored per game, and top 10 in power play percentage, and their top lines are major reasons why.
Connor Hellebuyck and Adin Hill will be in goal for their respective teams tonight. On Nov. 29, when the two clubs first met, it was Eric Comrie who was in goal for the Jets. Barbashev and Brett Howden each put two past Comrie en route to a 4-3 win.
