The Vegas Golden Knights have recalled forward Tanner Laczynski from the Henderson Silver Knights with Nicolas Roy and Ivan Barbashev's health in question for tonight's game against the Vancouver Canucks.

Laczynski leads the Silver Knights in scoring with six goals and 19 points in 17 games, despite missing seven games. The 27-year-old was also one of the standout players during pre-season, flashing offensive skill among other aspects of his game.
He's been a reliable AHL scorer since he began his professional career in the 2020-21 season. In 110 AHL games, he's recorded 37 goals and 93 points. He's also accumulated 38 games of NHL experience with the Philadelphia Flyers and will need to recall it to help him make his season and Golden Knights debut if called upon tonight.
Barbashev suffered his injury on Sunday against the Minnesota Wild and the initial reports seemed to favour his absence from tonight's fixture. Roy's possible absence is a bit surprising due to the Golden Knights calling his absence from practice "maintenance."
If both Barbashev and Roy can't dress tonight, it'll be Cole Schwidnt and Laczynski who will jump into the lineup. Schwindt hasn't played since Dec. 4 against the Anaheim Ducks but has played in 24 games this year registering six assists.
The Canucks remain in the race for the Pacific Division which makes tonight's game important for the Golden Knights but challenging. Each time they play a division rival, they'll have a target on their back due to their lead.
