Anger arose on social media when the 35-year-old stepped out onto the ice to take on the Panthers. Fans of other teams have despised the Golden Knights' use of the LTIR and any sort of injury news that comes out of Vegas is sure to rile up some people.

Following the upload of the 32 Thoughts, Friedman reported that Pietrangelo won't have to miss any regular season games to be excused from the 4 Nations Face-Off. During the podcast, Friedman referenced that Pietrangelo did miss three games this season after taking a puck to the face but when he spoke to the Golden Knights defenseman about whether he would play in the 4 Nations Face-Off during their road game against the Toronto Maple Leafs, Friedman reported that Pietrangelo said he felt healthy.

At the moment, the ailment that is keeping Pietrangelo out of the 4 Nations Face-Off is unknown but at this stage of his career, he is focused on keeping his body in its best shape to help the Golden Knights win the Stanley Cup.
