Golden Knights Conclude Five-Game Road Trip With Fixture Against The Avalanche

The Vegas Golden Knights will conclude their five-game road trip with a fixture against the Colorado Avalanche.

The Golden Knights are 3-1-0 on the road trip, picking up wins against the Ottawa Senators, Montreal Canadiens and Philadelphia Flyers. The Golden Knights have dealt with injury issues during this road trip but are more than happy to welcome Alex Pietrangelo and William Karlsson back to the lineup.

Nicolas Hague returned to the Golden Knights lineup on Saturday against the Canadiens but the team unfortunately lost Zach Whitecloud after he exited the game in the third period.

Tonight's matchup will feature two Hart Trophy favourites, Nathan MacKinnon and Jack Eichel. The two right-handed centremen are separated by one point and have been among the league's best offensive players through the quarter mark of the season.

The Golden Knights penalty kill will be put to the test tonight as the Avalanche own the fourth-best power play in the NHL. The Golden Knights' third-ranked unit will need to stay hot to match or outperform the success of the Avalanche's.
