Giants' top free-agent signing of Geoff Schwartz valued at $16.8M
The New York Giants' deal with free agent Geoff Schwartz, one of the top-rated guards available in NFL free agency, is worth up to $16.8 million over four seasons.
Schwartz instantly bolsters the Giants' offensive line to complement the addition of former Raiders running back Rashad Jennings.
Schwartz's deal guarantees $6.2 million, his agent, Deryk Gilmore, told Yahoo Sports.
The lineman appeared to enjoy his time in free agency, tweeting:
This is true “@DanOrlando3R: The newest #NYG has apparently put his honeymoon on hold for FA...@geoffschwartz was married on Saturday.”
