With the transfer window deadline now just over a month and a half away, Roma have already completed much of their outgoing transfers.

The new sporting director, Florent Ghisolfi, has in fact freed the team from nine players, and soon Houssem Aouar will also be added to this list, as he is ready to leave for Jeddah and move to Al-Ittihad.

Rick Karsdorp is also leaving, with probable destinations in Turkey between Besiktas and Trabzonspor, allowing Roma to save 2.2 million euros in wages and collect around 3 million euros for his price tag, reports Il Messaggero.

Among the nine recent farewells, the last one was that of Andrea Belotti. Also leaving Trigoria were Rui Patricio (which saved Roma 3 million in wages), Dean Huijsen (800 thousand euros), Diego Llorente (2.7 million euros), Rasmus Kristensen (2 million euros), Leonardo Spinazzola (3 million euros), Renato Sanches (3.6 million euros), Sardar Azmoun (1.7 million euros) and Romelu Lukaku (7.5 million euros).

The total saved on the wage bill, between sales and the end of loans or contracts, amounts to approximately 30 million euros.

This restructuring has alleviated one of the highest salaries in Serie A, creating the space necessary to complete the squad.

Daniele De Rossi is still waiting for reinforcements: a second goalkeeper (with Arnaud Bodart in pole position), a right back, a centre-back, a left winger to give Angelino a chance to breathe (with Samuel Dahl rumored to be very close), a midfielder, an attacking winger (with Matias Soulé as the main target), a striker in case of Tammy Abraham’s departure to Milan, and at least one other reserve attacker.

These signings are essential to strengthen the team ahead of the new season, with the aim of competing at the highest levels both in Italy and in Europe.
