Germany U21 Star Ready To Return As Substitute In Lecce Vs Inter Milan Serie A Clash
Defender Yann Bisseck is ready to come back as a substitute in tomorrow’s Serie A match between Lecce and Inter Milan.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews. They note that the German could even play in the centre of the back three to give Stefan de Vrij a rest.
Bisseck has been on the sidelines for the past few weeks.
The 24-year-old picked up a thigh problem during the Supercoppa Italiana final against AC Milan.
That injury has seen Bisseck miss out on matches against the likes of Venezia, Bologna, and Empoli in Serie A. He was also absent for last Wednesday’s Champions League outing against Sparta Prague.

However, the Corriere confirms, Yann Bisseck is back.
The German is in full training, and he can make his return to the pitch. Potentially as early as tomorrow’s match against Lecce in Serie A.
The Corriere report that Bisseck will not start that match.
However, there is every chance that the former Aarhus defender could come off the bench.
That is certainly good news in terms of Inter’s defensive depth. The Nerazzurri have had something of an injury crisis at the back in recent weeks.
That has seen Stefan de Vrij have to really put in overtime.
The Dutchman has started the majority of Inter’s matches since November, due to an injury to Francesco Acerbi.
But Yann Bisseck has proven capable of playing in the centre of the back three in de Vrij’s role. Therefore, he could come on tomorrow against Lecce to allow the Dutchman to have a rest.
