Georgiev Stands Tall, But Sharks Lose To Utah HC 2-1
Alexandar Georgiev made 23 saves, but the Utah Hockey Club defeated the San Jose Sharks 2-1 on Friday.
Utah HC got a late third-period goal from Barrett Hayton with 1:32 left.

Nick Schmaltz also scored for Utah, and Karel Vejmelka made 18 saves.
Fabian Zetterlund scored for the Sharks, who have lost two straight. Klim Kostin also left the game after the first period with a lower-body injury.
Zetterlund gave the Sharks a 1-0 lead 58 seconds into the first period after Mikael Granlund threw a puck off the goalie's pads.

Schmaltz tied the game 1-1 at 5:57 of the second period for Utah HC. Schmaltz could freely walk into the slot and beat Georgiev with a snapshot.
