Things are really heating up with AC Milan right now. The mercato is coming to a close, yet there is threat of several movements being made, on the incoming and outgoing front.

The past few days have been manic. Milan have made several attempts for Santiago Gimenez, whilst also considering other options. However, there has also been interest in players leaving, and today has been no different.

Alvaro Morata is heading towards the door, Davide Calabria is being viewed by Bologna, and the latest news is that Fikayo Tomori is being eyed by Premier League teams.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Aston Villa made a €30 million offer today – an initial €3m loan deal with a €27m obligation to buy upon the Villains qualifying for the Champions League next season. Whilst the Rossoneri said no, it does not end there.

The Midlands outfit are not the only party interested, and the report also states that Tottenham Hotspur have an interest in bringing the defender back to London in this window. In ‘the next few hours’ there is an update expected about the interest of Spurs, and whether Villa return to the table after their initial rejection.

It seems we could be in for a hectic ending to the mercato, this much is definite.
