AC Milan are heading towards welcoming a sold out crowd to San Siro for the game against Juventus on Saturday, a report claims.

As today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below) reports, the Milan faithful seem intent on making things very hostile for their rivals from Piedmont in what will be a clash between the two biggest clubs in Italy.

Despite the Rossoneri’s performance in Serie A not being the best, San Siro will be a cauldron because the paper states that the box office trend for ticket sales is going at a very high rate.

In fact, only a few tickets remain in the grandstand and first red tier. Milan need a great performance against the Bianconeri, because before the break there was a draw against Cagliari that put everything back into question.

If Paulo Fonseca’s men are to try and get themselves back into the title discussion they need to claim a big scalp like this, but the derby win over Inter and the Champions League victory against Real Madrid show they are capable.

A defeat against Thiago Motta’s men would not only probably end the title hopes but also would shift focus to a real battle for the top four, which is the minimum objective.
